IN A NUTSHELL: Maleek Williams rushed for 187 yards on 11 carries as Charlotte High School recorded its second straight undefeated regular season in a 35-0 victory over Palmetto on senior night.

IT WAS OVER WHEN: Williams broke several tackles en route to his third touchdown in the third quarter to make the score 21-0.

UNDER THE RADAR: Palmetto quarterback Anthony Marino was able to get the passing game going against the Charlotte defense, throwing for 152 yards. While the Tarpons bent, it didn’t break.

DID YOU SEE THAT: Charlotte senior running back Lavell Cudjo made his senior night something special with a long touchdown run down the sideline in the fourth quarter. It had to be a great moment for a hard-working kid.

THEY SAID IT: “It’s kind of surreal, being my last regular-season game for Charlotte High School. It’s sad, but I’m glad I did good,” Charlotte running back Maleek Williams
